The UC Student-Workers Union has begun collective bargaining with UC management, and is asking for the support of faculty in the current contract fight for better living and working conditions for graduate students.
They are holding their next bargaining session on 3/21 from 9:30 to 4 at the Wyatt Pavilion Theater at UC Davis. Members of their bargaining team from across the UC system and graduate students from UC Davis will be presenting a set of demands regarding affordable housing, childcare, sanctuary campuses, demilitarizing UC police, and improving undergraduate student-learning conditions. They will also be providing powerful testimonials from graduate students about living and working conditions.
Please consider coming out in the morning from 9:30 to noon in their support.
