Tuesday is election day. Perhaps you would be interested in spending a few minutes at the start of class the next couple days reminding your students to vote? Here’s some information you could share with them:
The polls are open 7 am to 8 pm on March 3rd. There will be one satellite polling place on campus at the Memorial Union. Students with vote by mail ballots can drop their ballots off there on election day.
Students who are registered to vote but did not register as vote by mail should have received a voter information guide and the back cover of that guide will have the poll location that the student should vote at on Tuesday. Students can also go to any polling place and either vote there or the polling staff there can redirect them to their appropriate polling place.
