The California Conference of the American Association of University Professors is conducting its annual meeting online this year, and all who wish to attend can do so for free, wherever you may be. The DFA co-chairs encourage our members to attend this event. It is a great way to be inspired, learn more about challenges to higher education, and have interesting conversations with colleagues. This year’s conference includes a variety of perspectives on teaching, learning, and creating equity at a distance, with the following sessions:
Session 1: The Union & Struggle for Ethnic Studies: California’s Continuing Struggle
Session 2: Organizing During a Pandemic
Session 3: At a Distance: Articulating A Higher Ed Perspective on Remote Instruction
